The Breeding Pit
Guro Hentius began his depredations as a bright understudy of Fabius Bile. But while Bile was content to restrain his explorations to the realm of biological matter, Hentius threw himself into more esoteric pursuits. Studying dark tomes and ancient fertility rites, Hentius began perfecting the arts of intermingling human and daemonic Essence, producing a vast population of daemonhosts, corrupted psychers and Chaos mutants. Hentius formed from this rabble a cult of sex-worshippers so utterly devoted to Slaanesh's dark desires that the Chaos God granted him with Princehood.
Hentius and his degenerate followers do their work within the Eye of Terror, on an Eldar world twisted by the Warpstorms into a suitable pleasure-palace for his whims. The choicest of his minions serve him as his personal harem and bodyguard, while those with promising spiritual and genetic features who have failed to live up to their potential are relegated to his breeding pits. Stranger and more dangerous gifts are taken to his arcanum, where he meticulously studies their bodies and souls to unlock the secrets of their mutations and powers.
As a Chaos Prince, Hentius controls a vast army of chaos cultists and daemons devoted to his experiments in breeding, sex magic and unholy hedonism. Through his connection to the Ruinous Powers, Hentius scryes the Warp for bodies and souls that possess some ineffable quality or other that will serve his purposes. These beings are called to him across the Galaxy, and if any hint of corruption exists in their heart they will come willingly to him in time. If not, he must take matters into his own hands, sending forth his host of daemonettes to bring them home to him.
A raiding party's typical strategy is simple: fight their way to their prize and unleash the raw forces of Chaos upon their prey, warping its body and soul until it succumbs to their whims. Once their victim's mind, body and spirit are shattered into the pliable form of a Chaos spawn, the daemonic invasion retreats into the Warp, making its way swiftly back to Hentius' palace to be interned into his arcane sanctum or his breeding pits.
In Apocalypse, an army led by Hentius will almost invariably be on a mission to kidnap a specific member of the enemy's force, raping and maiming their way to their prize with sadistic glee. To succeed in their mission, the target must be converted into a Chaos Spawn using the Boon of Mutation gift, and the Spawn must then be escorted back to the Hentius player's home edge.
If both players agree, choose an opposing model as the target of the raid. Otherwise, consult the following 1D6 chart:
1 An enemy Troop or Fast Attack model (roll randomly to determine which unit & model)
2 An enemy Elite model (roll randomly to determine which unit & model)
3 An enemy HQ model (roll randomly to determine which unit & model)
4-6 An enemy Special Character (roll randomly to determine which character)
Only models with a Toughness value may be chosen; Hentius has no use for machines.
Hentius's force may use any Slaanesh units from Codex Chaos Daemons and any units from the Apocalypse Lost and the Damned list. Additionally, Hentius may accompany his force personally. He has the following characteristics:
