Need your opinions at a bike-heavy list.

Thought of a friendly but useful biker gang.
Had an idea about a base of 1000 pts and tried to expand to 1500. Can't see the "right" way to add the next 500 pts.

Basic list:

HQ: Captn (Kor'sarro khan) with bike =205

Troop 1: 8xBikes with attack bike(HB), 2x meltaguns. will combat squad. =275

Troop 2: 8x Bikes with attack bike(MM), 2x flamer. will combat squad. =275

Assault 1: 10x scoutbikes, meltabombs, 2x grenade launcher, mines =245

-1000 pts.


ideas for 500 pts:

1) add a command squad and a assault bike squad.

HQ: command squad with bikes, 1x company standart, 2x thunderhammer, 2x power-weapon, 4x stormshield. =370
=>will follow the cptn.

assault 2: 3x attack bikes, 1x Multimelta, 2x Heavy bolter. =130


2) add a independent command squad and 2 characters.

HQ: command squad with bikes, 4x meltagun. =245
=> raids the table alone.cptn joins another troop choice.

HQ: Librarian with bike, codicer? =135
=>joins a squad

Elite 1: Techmarine with bike,combi-melta = 120
=>joins a squad


3) no command but another bikesquad:

Troop 3: 8x bikes with attack bike(MM), 1x plasmagun. = 280
=>will combat squad

Troop 4: 5x scouts (bolter), 1x ML. =85
=> use LS storm

Assault 2: Landspeeder storm =50
=>assigned transport

Assault 3: 2x attack bikes, both HB =80

4) more scouts for objectives

Troop 3: 5x bikes with attack bike(MM), 2x plasmagun, 1x combi-plasma. =230

Troop 4: 5x scouts (snipers), 1x HB =85
=>use LS

Troop 5: 5x scouts (snipers), 1x HB =85
=>use LS

Assault 2: Landspeeder storm =50
=> assigned transport

Assault 3: Landspeeder storm =50
=> assigned transport

How about some attack bike squads for some heavy firepower? I'd consider a pair of attack bike squads and another unit of bikes.

More bikes would fine to increase numbers.
I think bikes should always move and my cptn may want some buddys to ride along,so figured out a variant to add a command squad.
OTOH some scouts could be cheap enough to sit back on objectives. :S

Is a second IC a sound option if I use only troop-bikes ?
Bike sgt's are restricted in their options vs infantry-sgt's and a IC could upgrade a bike-squad a bit.

Or take Bike-command ?
Anything to expensive at 1500?
