Well here the completed conversion for my biker warboss. I had a heck of a time finding a spot for the attack squig, but I like how this turned out.

The parts used were an oldschool warbike, one of the new warbikes, AOBR warboss, oldschool squig, and just a hint of plasticard.

Let me know what you think.

He looks pretty mean.
I think the squig turned out well, and he adds some character to the model that would otherwise have been lost by covering up the warboss's face.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

Highlord with a Blackstone Fortress

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

It looks like he has an orky version of the sleeping masks you get on airlines. it does niot look like the mask holes correspond with his eyes.

Paintjob might fix that if the eyeslits as contrasting enough.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

I think he's great, I was gonna do the same thing with that mask, to convert up a boss to some black orcs/ard boyz when i mix two boxes of orks to make tougher orks.

The hardest thing when converting a warboss on bike is to make the model bigger and more imposing than your other warbikes so he really stands out. I think you did a good job.

now get it painted!!!

ps...how come your green stuff is brown??

Two part epoxy resin comes in lots of colors. You have your typical GW supplied putty which we affectionately call Green stuff, but the putty I used this time around is brown. I also use some putty for my resin figures that comes out grey. They all act a little differently, but ultimatly the end result is the same. Some cure faster, some are easier to sand, etc.

Often, the putty I use is determined by what color I'm going to prime the figure. If I prime black, I don't mind using brown or green. But If I'm priming white, I use my Tamiya brand putty which is a soft grey.

What is the helmet from? I looks like I should invest in one...

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Well done it's good and effective how did you get the warboss to sit?

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. The AOBR warboss fits just fine on the bike. I had to dremel away the loincloth and just a bit of surrounding plastic. I then cut off his feet and reattached them facing more forward than pointed out. He has a pin going right up his butt and through the bike seat. He actually sits pretty well. The toughest part was getting his right hand onto the handle bar.

yea i think your boss is pretty sweet. the only thing that bugs me with all the AOBR bosses on bikes is almost noone moves the PK to make it look better. but i love the mini. as for the helm, i think it looks great! the eyes holes are a real BISH to do on orks. i put some masks on my Ard boyz and i made the first one where the eye holes DID set right over the orks eyes but on the mask the eyes looked to smashed together. so the i remade them to look better on the mask. what can ya do lol

What if the boss is blind? And his squig is a seein-i-squig?

I've seen it, unfortunately FW is stupidly expensive. I much rather look at what people have made using their own materials and normal bits that are available to everyone.
