Sneaky Striking Scorpion

As the title suggests, this is a list for making your poor opponent roll a rediculous amount of saves. Keeping in mind this is a "fun" kind of list, given it is quite weak on any weapons above St6, the overall performance should be somewhat frustrating for the enemy.
HQ:
Autarch - Mandiblasters, Power Weapon, Fusion Gun (Rides with the 1st DA unit)
Farseer - Doom, Fortune, Spirit Stones, Singing Spear (Rides with either of the other DA units)
Elite:
Fire Dragons - 6 - Riding in Night Spinner
Troops:
Dire Avengers - 10 inc Exarch - Dual Shurikats, Bladestorm, Defend - Wave Serpent w/TL-Scatter Laser
Dire Avengers - 10 inc Exarch - Dual Shurikats, Bladestorm - Wave Serpent w/TL-EML
Dire Avengers - 10 inc Exarch - Dual Shurikats, Bladestorm - Wave Serpent w/TL-EML
Fast Attack:
Warp Spiders - 8 inc Exarch - Withdraw, Power Blades, Dual Death Spinners
Warp Spiders - 8 inc Exarch - Withdraw, Power Blades, Dual Death Spinners
Heavy Support:
Night Spinner - Naked, 7" St6 template should do it eh?
Night Spinner - As above...
Night Spinner - As above...
Total = 1996 Points
HQ: 11.7%
Elite: 4.8%
Troops - 41.4%
Fast: 21.8%
Heavy: 20.3%
The idea behind this force is to leave the Night Spinners in cover and lob St6 7" templates on the enemy... making IG mortars look pretty tame. Spiders follow this up by making good use of their pop out and back attack to mop up units with torrents of St6 fire, whlist the Dire Avengers do much the same with the Autarch at the helm, and a Seer dooming units of priority. Almost unsure if he should be using Fortune or Guide in this instance... on one hand there will be anywhere upwards of 23 St4 shots to 99... not including the Spiders and Night Spinners added for effect. Naturally this force would excell against troop based armies, but not so well against armour at all. Perhaps I should consider this as a good starting point for an Apoc force, throwing in 1k of armour crunching goodness to balance things out. Thoughts? Comments? Laughs?

Well, what is a Night Spinner? FW model?

G'day Wuestenfux, sure is a FW model, its a heavy support choice for Eldar, uses the same chassis as a Falcon, except the turret is replaced with twin shadow weavers... quite larger than the Support Weapon version... instead they have longer range and a much larger template. At their points cost, they have some nifty advantages, mainly they are able to move out of harms way and fire indirectly, whilst still being able to transport a squad around for close encounters.

Nice model.
I'd stick the Autarch with Warp Spiders. One large squad of Warp Spiders should suffice. For the remaining points I'd use the transport capabilities of the Spinner.

Yuppers, had that thought myself, however with the Night Spinners being naked, I had hoped to keep them well out of the conflict zone while the rest of the army does its magic. Other than that id fill the little buggers with Fire Dragons. Good point though, ill have to consider what other 6 pack options I may be able to throw in there.

Hum, I know this is just a "for fun list" but I don't know about you, but *fun* for me is having a list be well balanced that can handle anything my opponent has, which includes AV14 armored Land Raiders. You have a few weak ways to deal with that (FS and Autarch's fusion). Even adding Spinet Rifles to the Warp Spider Exarch would help... as would changing some of the Wave's weapons to Brightlances. Anyway again, I know it's just for fun, but as I pointed out I think just adding a few more ways to deal with heavy armor would increase the fun factor.
