Gone

Hi all,

I have been out of the 40K loop for a few years but I have been an on/off player since RT days. I still have fond memories of a box of Rhinos for £10 (or whatever it was, may be fond but my memory is awful).
As several members of my family are starting up Armies I started looking on the web and came across this site. I have always been more of a painter/modeller than a player and have found some amazing inspiration in the threads on here.

After finding some old IG lurking in the cupboard I have decided to try and build up and army gradually but as I have very little spare cash this may take a while. My aim is to actually have a painted army as I always spent my time painting other peoples stuff. I am finding it hard to apitn to my old standards due to shakey hands and even worse eyesight (gone are the days of painting fine detail 2" from my nose ). My biggest problem is that I am a very slow painter at the best of times and I am very easily distracted, as my semi constructed enclosed basilisk conversion will attest to. I also blame the internet as I spend way too much time oogling other peoples amazing work.

I also have a bad habit keeping things short and simple

IG eh ? If you're ever within striking distance of darkest Oxfordshire and want to try them out in a very slow learning experience type game, let me know.

Welcome!

Just two things:
1. English is not my mother tongue. I´m really sorry for the misunderstandings and the kicks to the dictionary. Don´t be too hard on me, OK?
2. With the best intentions sometimes comes the worst advice. But you asked for it, didn't you?
