How about a working link? what kind of format / prize is it? I live about 1 hour and 30 minutes away what makes it worth my gas money?

It's 500 pts, Points are awarded for each objective held at the end of the match, out of a possible 3. Extra point awarded for victory, and extra points awarded for painting and sportsmanship.

$5 entry fee. Pries awarded based on number of entries, but will be monetary. Top 3 get it all, with 1st getting the most, 2nd less, 3rd the least.

The winner is looking probably at around $25-30, depending on how many people show up.

Hate to resurrect this thread. However, I don't see much point to creating my own with the same title.

There is going to be an 1850 tournament for 40k at the Bearded Dragon in Oneonta on April 24, 2010. Starts at 1p.m. there IS comp, details are in the attachment.
