I just started and am asking what 40k army should i collect

Hello, What kind of style do you find yourself attracted to?


Close combat? Ranged?

Horde armies? Small amounts of elite units?

If you just ask a question like what army should a noob play people will just tell you to play Space Marines or Orks since they come in the starter box.

tau have good attacks i think you will like them alot read up on the tau.

if you can't afford to do that look at what fluff you like best and style of play you like best, that should help.

Im gonna collect Tyranids using GW and FW models.

good luck on the nids. make sure you think when making a list and buying there minis. nids can be incredibly terrifying to play against.... OTOH they can also be the easiest to kill if the player doesnt plan out a strategy.

Id go the mighty tau empire

Space Marines. They are the reference to measure every other army IMHO.
