Deleted this as it was not a strong list
okay per suggestion I have this new list.
Vulcan Histaan 195
Elites
5 Man Term w/ Thunder and Redeemer 465
10 man sternguard w/ Drop, lb, dw and 4 combimeltas 335 ( I really want to add two h. flamers to this )
IronClad w/ h. flamer , drop w/ dw, lb , 210
Troops
Tactical w/ melta, Multimeltam, PW Drop pod w/ DW LB 255
Tactical w/ melta , multimelta, PW Drop w/ LB 235
Tactial w/ Melta, Multimelta , PW Drop w/ LB 235
Drop pod count is 5 on this so 3 on the first turn. So I bought 3 Deathwinds other two not so much.
This list comes out to 1930, any suggestions? I have a librarian model, chaplain model I dunno. I could free up some points by geting rid of Deathwinds an getting 100 points worth of something.
Here is the general tactic.
Drop in my 3 Deathwinds on the First turn w/ the Sternguard, Tactical squad , and dreadnought. Charging foward with the Landraider.
My back up tactic against horde is to drop Empty Pods. 3 Deathwinds Middle of the table. Stay in my deployment.

If I lose it is because I had bad luck, if you win it is because you cheated. |

Wouldn't you like to know.

If you are buying the redeemer as the terminator transport, you might want to rethink how many terminators you want in that redeemer, at the max only 6 terminators will fit in it.

I am combat squading them so I can split and place 5 in it. I was going to use the other five for support in my deployment zone.

The Terminators are 400. Land Raiders are not 65.

The list lacks synergy as there are too many transport options: drop podded, LR, foot slogging, and jump packing.

i purchased 3 Drop pods as that allows me ot put both my Iron Clads in on the first turn.
The synergy revolves around the fact you have abig giant landraider bearing down on your Deployment zone and 2 Iron Clads in there as well.
Tactic is just drop Iron then fire smoke.

The Assault squad is not really fitting into the list unless you manage to keep it behind the LR during its advance.

thats not really synergy is it. its more just...some stuff.
your terminators arent costed correctly. they should also have heavy flamers. what are the other 5 going to do while your land raider goes charging off across the battle field?
your iron clads are ok, but on their first turn every single close ranged weapon in your opponents army will be looking at them. dont expect AV13 to save them. i dont have to worry about your land raider for at least 2 turns so i can concentrate on them as well.
i cant honestly see your tacticals doing much. because the all have short ranged weapons, those not in the drop pod will only have a very minor impact on the game.
your assault squad is completely out of place. did you just include it to fill points?
as i said your army is just some stuff that doesnt really maximise vulkans abilities.

If we were to play each other in a tournament, not only would I table you, I would murder you, your family, every woman you ever loved and burn down your house. I mean, what's the point in winning if you allow people that don't take the game seriously to live? |
