Hi, I've been collecting 40K for some time now and I got a question, I've been thinking of converting a Leman Russ Demolisher into a Vanquisher and I would like know the dimensions of the Demo Cannon in millimeters, thanks in advance.

I don't know about other people but I don't do mm.
The thing with warhammer is projects dont always go according to plan, you have to go with what looks good. Because what it looks like on paper can be different to what the model will look like. Just guess.

Overall barrel width on the demo cannon (metal) from the Leman Russ is 12mm.
Internal diameter is 7mm.
Common mod for the plastic LR barrel is to cut it just after the fume extractor part (where the barrel widens and then steps back down), and remove barrel and muzzle forward of there.

I find an easy way to make Vanquishers is to use the fuel drum as and extension to the main barrel. It's easy to do. Once you've done it successfully, you'll do it to all your Russess, trust me.

I really should be spending my time more constructively. |

i've extended all my battlecanons using brass tubing -
glue the battlecanon halves together & wait to dry,
cut the barrel in two between the 2 bands where it's fattest,
take bits down to a decent model shop to test-fit the tubing for size,
buy a plumber's tube cutter - can be quite cheap -
& away you go!
remember a vanq canon has a similar bore to a battlecanon & imo the demolisher turrent is horrilble - i've replaced mine with FW Ryza ones.
