Well as it says in topic i am having some problems i myself are playing ogre kingdom, and we are like 7 people playing war together. The team with the guy that plays chaos warriors allways wins though because of his enourmous armorsaving and the fact that many of his units are stronger even though they cost less. We play last man standing 0-1999 points though we say its ok to use the rules for lords and heroes as if we were playing 2000-2999. My question is now if anyone would be able to come up with an Ogre Kingdom army that i would be able to beat this chaos warrior dude with in 1 vs 1 since im run out of ideas

Well try not to allow lords. Ogres are one of the few armies that chaos will outnumber. SInce you allow Lords, the problem is he can take a reletivly stacked lord and still outnuber you. try changing the rules about the lords . Seriously, Chaos lords can go toe to toe with pretty much anything in the game and come out on the winning side of it. And depdning how he tolls it up, he can make it for killing ogres specifically. Try running this like lots gnoblars and tie them up with his strong units. If you can keep them busy for a round or two, itll leave you time to get a flank charge with some harder hitters like bulls or ironguts. If you do allow a lord, take a tyrant that is ready for character killing, id suggest giving him the tenderiser. Give him armour also, and maybe even the mawseeker abillity to make a chaos lord have a harder time wounding him. Its tricky building a tyrant up for combat against a lord since they are so powerful. Lords often make tyrants look like pansy's (believe me, ive done this many times.) Last thing id tell you is AVOID KNIGHTS AND CHARACTERS. All chaos units hit fairly hard, but if a unit of knights gets the charge, i dont care if you have a iron gut unit with a character in there, the unit is gona get hurt badly. Thats all i can really suggest.

The "I kill you first" way.... Or a chaos runeshield.

What kind of army does your friend take? Lot sof knights? Chaos warriors on foot? Marauders? A lord on a dragon? We'll need some info before we're able to help you out.

As a general guideline: take the flanks. Draw his unit sout of position, flank, and make sure there aren't many that can strike back. Gnoblars are purely sacrificial; they only provide +3 CR, while the chaos player can easily kill 4+, costing you combat res in the end.

For a start if you are playing 1999 and allowing lords just step up to 2000 points.

1: Tyrant with tenderiser.

2: 3 Butchers (The buffs from their spells are what makes an MSU ogre army work, and that is the best way to play them)

3: 3-4 units of 4 Ironguts- muso These are your killer units where the tyrant and butchers live

4: Couple units bulls (3 only) NO UPGRADES with muso to bait and flee.

5: 2 units of 2 leadbelchers... with muso for flanks

6: Trappers- to marchblock and capture a quadrant. If they kill nothing they will have bbeen worth it.

7: Any points left buy a rhinox rider give him war banner and buff the hell out of him with your butcher- Stubborn and +1 T are very, very annoying.

8: No rhinox rider go maneaters with guns for more shooting, immune to psych and put the tyrant here.

No standards to give away points.
All the units are cheap so feel safe to flee (EXCEPT tyrant and maneaters)
The key is to bait and flee and buff your hitty units (maneaters and ironguts) with the spells.
