I hate vampires, but i want to start a undead army can you still have decent armies ledby whigt lords and necromancers?

And whilst you're pointing and shouting at the boogeyman in the corner, you're missing the burglar coming in through the window.

Well, Duh! Because they had a giant Mining ship. If you had a giant mining ship you would drill holes in everything too, before you'd destory it with a black hole

It is possible, but there are no lord choices that are not Vampires.

Do you hate the idea of vampires or the models?

Once upon a time, I told myself it's better to be smart than lucky. Every day, the world proves me wrong a little more.

Use a Necromancer model and use the Vampire rules with various magic blood powers.

But based on your initial question I think you wanted to know if there are Lord choices
for Necromancers and the answer is no.

Actually I don't have the book with me but I believe it states that the army must be led by a Vampire. It is VAMPIRE counts after all.

You wouldn't want to rely on a Necromancer for all your magic anyway- even in small games. they only get a choice of 3 spells.

I'm just not a fan of vampires, all other undead I love.

And whilst you're pointing and shouting at the boogeyman in the corner, you're missing the burglar coming in through the window.

Well, Duh! Because they had a giant Mining ship. If you had a giant mining ship you would drill holes in everything too, before you'd destory it with a black hole

A very strong player around here was running a Vampire Thrall as a Master Necromancer, then three necromancers for characters. The army plays a lot more like the old style lists than how the newer ones play - you may find that a bit better.

Its important to have every spell on each necromancer, as you wont have a lord to augment your magic phase.
