I am planning to convert Cassius from my leftover parts. I already have almost all parts ready, only that combi-flamer is missing. When ready, am I allowed to use the model as Cassius in my own chapter? Or would I be forced to buy the Cassius model itself? Cassius is an ultramarine and the codex says I can use the rules in another chapter.

You'll be able to use your converted model in your own chapter as Cassius.

I haven't yet come up with a name...

Want to suggest one? I want one very grim and dark name for my "Cassius".

Do you have a theme for your own chapter? If so this might make giving him a name easier because then it would be in line with the rest of your characters if you decide to make them.

GENERATION 5: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

I have not really thought about a theme, but I have decided that my chapter descends from Salamanders and it doesn't use vehicles. I'm not sure if that helps you...

Grim Darkassius sounds good to me . It even has that kassius in the end and suits my not so serious army. Thanks for the name, Strimen!
