Yoor Speeshawl too Gawd!

Game Zone has released something called Fiendish Offsprings that look as sweet as the old mounted daemonettes. For those of you like me that prefer the older metal ones these fit in nicely

Okay, I would totally use that as a Herald of Slaanesh. I third the cost query.

Thier other cavalry is between 10 for wolf riders and 18 for their exquisite cold ones so this will probably be in the 13-16 dollor range I would imagine. I get my gamezone stuff from FRP games.

Up your nose with a rubber hose.

Hopefully they'll release some unmounted Fiendish Offspring too. Their daemonic tushies are as buoyantly cute (or should I say infernally seductive) as those on the previous GW figs. And that's what's important.

I really like GZ's way of releasing video previews of their minis, it gives a really good idea of the sculpt in a way static images just can't.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Uber sexy, I like them. Too bad I have absolutly no use for them. Maybe when the Chaos legions book get released and Emperor's Children gets access to actual Damonettes back.

And one of these days, Gamezone are going to have an original thought, and not just offer alternatives.

Would be nice to see, but I doubt it. Too much like hard work I'd imagine.

I'd guess they just refuse to risk it. Rackham had original thoughts for Confrontation, and it didn't do them any good. Gamezone is likely far too small to go chasing rainbows with their own designs and ideas. Life as a parasite is safer. If you're good enough at mimickry, you can get all the advantages of a large customer base with none of the drawbacks of having to build one.

And it's not like those copies take any hard work at all to sculpt compared to original ideas...

No, but it's easier than desiging a concept yourself. You simply see what someone else has done, and see if you can do better.

Nothing inherently wrong with that, I just think they are capable of so much more.

Actually, Space Marines have gone through a process of almost constant evolution. The original ones, back in Rogue Trader, weren't even genetically modified that much. That came later.

I think he was being less specific than GW's Space Marines history and referring to the fact that elite power armored warriors had been around before GW made Space Marines.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

What's sad is how often they can. Some damn fine metalwork.

i can testify to their quality too - i picked up some undead wolves last year & they are absolutely gorgeous - so much better than the old dire wolves and therefore tons better than the new ones!

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

Nice stuff (as usual for a gamezone release) but they need four more poses before I'll buy a unit!

Well personally, I find the daemonette to be absolutely perfect, but the steed is wrong. Perhaps it works as some sort of alien critter, but it doesn't say "sleek steed of the god of decadence" to me.

But I want lots of those daemonettes. She looks even better than the pole-dancers.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

I'm sure there are lots of toys from questionably legal anime series that could fit what you're looking for.
