Are there any good gaming stores in southern New Hampshire? Since the dakka store closed, i have been going to the Game Castle, because it is closer. The gaming there is, however, sub-par. I am used to games from Dakka, with opponents like Ragnar, Juan, Russ, and the host of other players. The games at the catle just arent challnging. So, any places?

Collectibles Unlimited in Concord. Guy who runs it is super-cool, it's a small place but he really takes care of wargamers. I've ordered stuff from him and spent some time hanging out in the store and it's quite nice (slim pickings here in NH, but this is a good one regardless).

40K tourney the 26th (tomorrow as of this writing), but he has stuff every month. Ask to get on the newsletter.

He's at 28 South Main in Concord - 228-3712

Elite Hobbies in Dover also has a good player base and 5 permanent tables. You can take a look at their website, which while it isn't updated often has a link to their forums which are very active.

Empire did need to close put reopened under a new name ADLER HOBBY.
We also down sized and do more events at conventions and gaming clubs and special parties.
Located now in Hollis NH its more of a destination! The fans of gaming are alot fewer than the old days so the extra space of gaming isnt needed but we do still have nice gaming tables and a special once a month gaming night on the first Monday of the month!
Right now Flames of War and AT-43 are big we also looking to do a online store before the years over and offer a 20% discount on all preorders giving even the war store a bit of competition.
Heres a picture of a recent June 2008 FOW event!

If you're willing to cross the border, there's a store in Townsend MA that sells GW, but no tables.
