I was wondering if anyone has seen any good online tutorials for sculpting long female hair. Same for tentacles en-mass, like say, to add demonette tentacle-hair going down the back further than already sculpted in original cast.

I have tried rolling up tiny strings and tacking them together and that looked like crap so any hints or tips or links would be greatly appreciated.

I saw female hair and tentacles and my first thought was, "Oh my god, someone's going to sculpt some tentacle porn..."

The only 'idea' off the top of my head that may help would be to use small gauge wire as armature for the tentacles. If you're using GS, it just won't stay in place as gravity will pull it down. That's all I got atm.

i find the best the best way to do long tenticals or hair is to make use of the left over mixed green stuff from other projects roll it into long thin tubes you can then shape it any way you like twisted (works best for horns) small bends (works well for tentacles) or just big loops twisted bent any way you like you let these set then attach them to the model then use them as your bases for flowing hair mohawks horns anything
ill try to get some photos up later

hope that helps
