Heya Guys,

I'm fairly new to the hobby, and yeah, I've decided to go along with collected a Slaanesh-CSM oriented army.

Forgive me if my standard isn't as high as the others, but I think that these are fairly well done for my first batch of models.

-------------------------

These pics were taken about 2 months ago, they are the first stages of my painting.

[img]I must say, I am really greatful of the artistic influence my mother has had on me. I found over the last couple of months my painting has vastly increased, and at quite an astounding rate (for me I guess).

Just a quick shout-out, if anyone has any tips on basing or modifications, I'd really like to hear from you .

Right, so the next sequence of photos will host my near completed Vindictor, a sqaud of 3rd Edition CSM Terminators, a finished Lucius, and a near finished Noise Marine Squad.

Any criticisms welcome!

That's it for this update! I don't think I'll have time to paint and post until next week though... I'll do my best, and thank you for viewing!

Those look extremely good, especially for a new painter. I'm hoping you've done something at least kinda-sorta related before!

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

Really nice start !

But I suggest Chestnut Ink for the golden areas and Ogryn Flesh for faces...

Can you not hear the music of the gods ?

A small dark place

Your Lucius is beautifully done, but i would suggest shading the pink on your noise marines and the inking that Captain Engelhardt said.

Well, to be completely honest, about 6 years ago, I did find myself immersed amongst Warhammer. Unfortunaltey I was about 10 years old then, and my general sense was relatively poor, and my painting was -terrible-. The paint job you see on these models contrast vastly from my initial works back 6 years ago.

(Yes I'm 16 now )

----------------------

Uhm, just a note on the blending, I'm not too sure how I can do that. Do you have any tips?

And on the inks, I find myself using brown ink as opposed to chestnut ink, I prefer the darkness, however, I can give it a toss if you want.

For the wash on the pink areas I'd mix some of the base pink you used and scab red little by little until you go 1 shade darker.. then dilute it 1:4 with water.. make sure the paint collects in the corners to outline the armor and if it changes the pink overall... 1:1 water/pink and make brush strokes toward the middle sections of the armor.
