Also, in an ironic twist on something you threatened to do previously, I'm going to make another promise.
If the package is not signed for, it will be returned to me. If it is returned to me, I will set out everything that is in the box of import and burn it. I will watch it go up in flames.
The video that I shoot of it will be posted to YouTube. I will email you a link, as well as post links to it in open forums.
Remember when you threatened me that, if I sent you anything, you'd burn it and send me a link to the video, Matthew? Well, this way, you'll get what you want (burned models), regardless - MagickalMemories

Ask and you shall receive. Plus, I did take this pic yesterday but decided against posting it as I painted that Ork like 6 years ago.

Plus, I plan to get a shot or 2 with the trukk loaded with AoBR boyz.

I'd cut out somewhere for the driver to look out of. The screen/mesh stuff is such different scale that he wouldn't be able to see out

It doesn't matter if he can't see, only if he goes fast!

It's too clean a build (WOT! Wot duz dat oomie mean!). The mesh is lined up perfectly, there are no dings, dents or scratches in the metal plates (a missing rivet or 2 with a hole drilled in makes for a fine detail. That ram looks factory fresh. Use your exacto, and cut some battle damage into this ride!

As far as cutting a hole in the screen...may not be totally necessary. What would be more fun is an Ork driver with his head out the side so he can see.

"Orkses never lost a battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!"

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

It looks more like a battle wagon than a truck, and I have to second Dez's opinion, It needs more wear and tear. Id slap more armor plates on the clean pieces, as well as more battle damage.

I like this alot, but as said before a little more battle damage would,IMO, improve its overall "orkieness".
Other then that excelent work

The client sent it along with the other stuff needed for the conversion. Im not exactly sure where its from.

Im sure you can ask him as he is a Dakka regular.

-----------

Some damage added as well as some random orkieness.

I also had some boyz, a nob, and a big mek conversion laying around so they felt like hoping on for a ride.

I'm not the client, but it looks to me like a knitting mesh. You can get a LARGE sheet of it for cheap at any craft or fabric store. I think I got a 11"x9" sheet for like $2US.

Looks very cool. I might make the drivers vision hole slightly larger, but it could just be the picture angles, I don't know.

Welp.. I AM the client and comissioner.. and that mesh was a "found object' here at work (work in a computer facility).

I assumed it was some type of packaging material for servers or boards.. until 2 nights ago, my wife wandered in whilst I was toying around with some that I had not sent to redstarone.. and mentioned that it was plastic mesh for something like punch needle work.. or a crochet mat.

Since one of my co-workers DOES knit, and spends her lunch breaks doing so.. that makes sense. I think it is something you can find at just about any craft store.

The client, porkuslime sent me these pictures of the trukk after he painted it. Frankly, im glad he did the painting on it as it looks amazing and far better then I would have done.

I like it, but I think the grating needs some tubing on the sides to make it look more realistic and less 'glued on'.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.
