I've been having this argument with my friend for the past couple days. He says that other armies can use your locator beacons to deepstrike models. RAW says that they can be used for any model arriving via deep strike. But I was always under the impression that you can't use wargear from another army.

Is this another army an ally? (ie daemonhunters or apocalypse)?

In the case we're arguing, no. I'm talking about demons or something crazy like warp spiders with surprise assault. Anything Tau with jetpacks.

Even in an ally game I would say no to the ally bouncing off it.

This is in fact true. Be careful I was burned pretty bad by a Chaos Player playing 2 tables down at my FLGS who decided to join our game and deepstruck 4 Units of Blood Letters.


The only thing I can say is to have one of your friends on a table next to you with a Army of Dark Angel Terms , that way if that does happen you will be able to gain reinforcements.


Honestly, I usually just keep a squad of 20 terminators in my Army Bag regardless of what is in my list just in case this happens.

why stop at terminators, if you are going to have someone randomly deep striking demons into your game you may as well bust out the Warhound Titan with Personal Teleporter
