I have a bottle of Orc flesh Wash from the mid 90s, one of the old hexagonal bottles with the flip top. Im almost dry and Ive been trying substitutes with no success and Im starting to panic - I dont want to change the look of my army! Any suggestions on what would be a good replacement, since GW got rid of inks?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Changing the skin colour of Orcs/Orks is an easy task thanks to the foundation paints and citadel washes. For my 40K Orks, I used Orkhide shade, then Knarloc green, Badab Black wash, Thraka Green wash, and a Goblin green highlight. Some people I know omit the Orkhide and Badab Black to thin it a bit, but it works fine. Looks nice and realistic. Trust me, the new paints and washes are a LOT better than the old ones.

Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Actually I use the ink as shading on Salamanders. I have tried Thraka Green and some of the other washes, but it doesnt have enough pigment. I have used the foundation set and the new washes and they are great for their own style, but when I started this army they did not exist and I am loathe to try and change technique with any new additions.

Times change sorry. Your paint will wear sooner or later, and the foundations last a lot longer because they have an absolutely OBSCENE amount of pigment in them.
The Washes aren't meant to be a totallly new colour, they're more about adding a nice tint and shading to a mini; like the blue tint you can see on 'Eavy Metal Grey K-nig-its.

For what it is worth, I think I might actually have some unopened Orc Flesh Wash in the 'Unloved Paints' box.

You can still buy Orc Flesh Wash but now it is known as Ink Wash - Green. The original manufacturer is coat d'arms (GW now has a different supplier - hence the change in paint range). You can buy it here:

Actually the manufacturer is HMG Paints, for Black Hat Miniatures. Coat d'arms is the brand name. In the US, it's available from Scale Creep Miniatures:

No problem. I was corrected by the owner of Black Hat on TMP when I made the same mistake!
