interesting, prehaps not slaanesh maybe nurgle as the Daemon Weapon is much better against anything meaning he can kill marines in swathes, and can take on larger targets too

When you give total control to a computer, it’s only a matter of time before it pulls a Skynet on you and you’re running for your life.

sure, drop a biker and you can give both nurgle marks instead. would be more fluffy.

Updated.

No Lash or Oblits either. still has all the punch of the lash oblits lists. just no lash

The Bikes would have an Icon of Nurgle, not the Mark of Nurgle.

Edit: And why would the Lords have Personal Icons? All they do is allow Lesser Daemons, Terminators, and Obliterators to Deep Strike without scattering (as well as allowing Lesser Daemons to Deep Strike at all).

/nitpick

You beat me to it. I was fixing it at the time Only 2 minor mistakes. Not bad for someone who doesn't have the codex... and I added a second list

nurgle demon weapons are better. they kill marines just as easily and kill big stuff better. nurgle bikers are also better than slaanesh bikers.

to the OP:

i prefer the first list, purely because the terminators dont fin in with the rest of the army.

you will have trouble against horde armies. lords and CSM bikes are still over priced for anything they could be expected to accomplish. your rhino sqauds will likely be seperated and then broken individually. and you have no ranged firepower to speak of what so ever.

all i cant find that is wrong with it is the usual. Cult marines would do you better than CSM (plague marines are my choice of rhino squad). you could get almost double the number of raptors for the same price as those bikes. a demon prince with MoN and Warptime costs the same as your lord and kill everything better.

I mean, what's the point in winning if you allow people that don't take the game seriously to live?

yea but this list is different then the usual lists... I do know it has no real ranged power... but if Moz showed me anything... range doesn't matter when you run tons of bikes!

As for hordes.... mathhammer wise the regular marines do fine against horde orks.... lets assume I am not a bad player and I keep my forces together.

If you're going to play regular marines, then the Icon of Chaos Glory is a near must-have, especially since yours will likely end up close-range and in combat. Not as good as fearless, but since we don't have ATSKNF, we need something to help out or leadership.

That's the other problem with the Nurgle bikers. If they take casualties, they're not fearless, so they can break easily, and if they do a clever player won't allow them to regroup. Especially if the Lord/s attach to them. To be fair, I also am not a fan of Nurgle bikes; things that kill them tend to be S7 or 8 anyway and usually AP3 or 2, which ignore the Nurgle boost mostly, and of course if you happen to lose the icon bearer then you're SOL.

the difference is that there tend to be a lot fewer weapons that are S7+ and AP3-, compared to S4(ish) and AP4+. they are a big unit that takes a lot to get rid of, particularly if they turbo boost. problem is that there are better bunkers and tar-pits available to CSM than bikes.

Well, I'd take a 10 men Termie squad by deleting one CSM squad. Three large CSM squads protected by Rhinos as scoring units (with IoGC please) should suffice, although Cult Marines would be a better buy.

yes there are better ones, but this is the point of the list

To make you think about different things besides lash/oblits.

Yes dropping one squad and having a 10 man termi squad would actually be really cool! I like this idea.
