Like the plaguebearers, and the list looks strong.
Will you try to tie the two God elements (Nurgle and Tzeentch) together in some way, or just go with separate color schemes?
You could, if you wanted to do the former, pick a few common accent colors.

(edit: for example, same color for glowing eyes, and to create daemonic auras on weapons...)

Wife said to paint first cause it is Thanksgiving Dinner, not lunch, so I knocked out my Great Unclean One today. As always, C and C welcome!

Hope this whets your appetite for Turkey :-)

The great unclean one is nicely painted but he looks too dull, it might just be the pics or otherwise use a spot colour to make him stand out. After all he's supposed to be the centerpeice of your army.

I think I need to add more light when i take the pics.

spot color? do you mean something a little brighter on three separate points on the model to draw more attention to it?

Someone said to gloss varnish, but I never liked that look.

OK, here is the Beast of Nurgle squad, brighter pics of my GUO, and someone asked me how did I differentiate the horrors, so I did a closeup of two of them from different squads.

Enjoy and C and C always welcome!

The Pics are better now but he definitely needs a spot colour, which is a bright(er) colour which catches the eye and should be used sparingly.

Ah, look at all that metal!!! It's like the good old days!

I dont think it is the pics.

Take a look at your plaguebearers they are just so much more vibrant than your horrors! I just think you need at least one more stage of highlighting.

I know you are trying to do this army fast so carry on as you are, get it done/playable then revisit areas which are lacking.

Looking great so far!

Oli: Can I be an orc?
Everyone: No.
Oli: But it fits through the doors, Look!

yeah, I was just thinking the same thing on those horrors. I will have to get back to them, still have more metal to paint.

Appreciate the feedback though, it always helps to get a different perspective.

someone stated swamp, but that seems typical. Tundra? sandy Beach with dried beach grass?

what sounds better?

Once they are all done, I was going to do a complete army shot.

Finished the Flamers units.

I am not sure I am thrilled with how these came out, but I am in a hurry. Still need to get the soul grinders and screamers done as well as obj markers.

comments and crits always welcome

may have to go and highlight more after the contest, right now I am focused on getting them assembled, primed, and painted. I have half day off tomorrow, so will be assembling a soul grinder, hopefully getting another soul grinder to have assembled on Saturday, then prime the grinders and the screamers Saturday for a Sunday marathon paint session.

oh yeah, still need to make objective markers. not sure what though, may make like a nurgle Icon as one and Tzeentch as the other, but what for the third? Something simple but cool that reflects both nurgle and tzeentch? hmmmm

Looks good to me - especially for a rapidly done army.

I like the soul grinders and the GEO best.

Thanks for the comments! My reward was a delicious all beef burger, hand cut crinkle fries, and a large strawberry shake.

The store owner did the contest to prove to those naysayers out there that yes indeed it is quite achievable to build and paint a complete tournament army in 30 days.

Great job. Love the Nurgle Soul Grinder . Your pink flamers look almost exactly like mine which lets me know I wasn't crazy for painting them pink. And thirty days? With this level of quality? Man, I wish I had your speed. Congrats on the finished army.
