No, Deep strike prevents ALL movement, except running, in the turn they arrive.

actually the deepstrike rules don't prevent ALL movement, they only mention restrictions on movement in the Movement phase

per the DS rules page 95

In the Movement phase when they arrive, these units may not move any further, other than to disemark from a deepstriking vehicle...

In that turn's Assult phase, however, these units may not launch an assault (even if they have the 'fleet' specieal rule
), unless clearly stated in their special rules...

the rules for jet packs page 52

In the Movement phase, they only move 6" when using their packs, but are always allowed to move 6" in the Assault phase, even if they don't assault...

I take this to mean that jet packs cannot move into HtH in the Assault phase after deepstriking but they still can move.

They can not move. I was looking at my 3E codex, the Tau Empire book states that they can not move after deepstriking.

Tau cannot move due to backwards rules. Warp spiders can tho due to newer rules

I don't have the codex. Are they permitted to move on subsequent turns?

Jet Pack models in general are allowed to move in the assault phase on the turn they Deep Strike per their unit rules in the rulebook Daggermaw referenced.

HOWEVER, Tau Stealth and Crisis suits have a rule in their codex which specifically disallows them from moving on the turn they deep strike, so even though they are jetpack models, they are not allowed to do so.
