Yes the South (USA) has been kind of chilly lately.

Well I bought Rogue Trader (WH40K 1st edition) and Space Hulk many eons ago but didn't get into the hobby until about 3 years ago. I now have Black Templars and Eldar armies as well as Dwarfs on the fantasy side.

It occurred to me that it might be fun to post and participate in the discussion.

Game on!

Chilly ? hummm. Most of the media coverage we get of the Southern USA these days seems to be hurricane damage. But I suppose that's only one small part.

Anyway, we were supposed to be talking about wargaming. Along with two friends we all chipped in to buy RT in 1982. Played a few games and began to discover girls a year or so later. I had some time off work just over a year ago. I bought DOW and played it incessantly until I hated it. So then I spent far more money than is reasonable on an army. or two. well three, really. if I don't count the Dark Eldar.

D20 has done to good roleplaying the same thing that McDonalds and Starbucks have done to good hamburgers and good coffee, respectively. Phasmaphobic

Welcome to Dakka guys! I agree about the temperature though. It's been a mite bit chilly 'round here lately. Snowed at my work in the North GA mountains for a time. Doesn't ever stick really though. Good to have you.

Once upon a time, I told myself it's better to be smart than lucky. Every day, the world proves me wrong a little more.

Homer: Your mother has this crazy idea that gambling is wrong. Even though they say it's okay in the Bible.
Lisa: Really? Where?
Homer: Eh, somewhere in the back

Welcome!

Just two things:
1. English is not my mother tongue. I´m really sorry for the misunderstandings and the kicks to the dictionary. Don´t be too hard on me, OK?
2. With the best intentions sometimes comes the worst advice. But you asked for it, didn't you?
