Just an idea to keep up the idea that Farseers and Chaos Sorcerors are amoung the most powerful psykers in the galaxy, and not just second fiddle to the mighty Space Marine Librarian. The most common complaint is that doing this is impossible within the existing framework of the rules (while keeping their uniquness). This is bollocks. Points would have to be adjusted accordingly obviously... so no points are listed.

1. Farseer

Suggested enhancement:

A farseer may cast more than one power per turn. The same power may be cast more than once per turn, though each Eldar unit may only be the recipient of one farseer effect per turn. Each subsequent psychic power cast is attempted against the Farseer's base leadership, less the number of powers attempted that turn. Any failed attempts to cast additional powers results in an immediate perils of the warp attack at strength X, where X is twice the number of attempted casts that turn. Further castings can not be made after a failed cast. Runes of witnessing only work for the inital casting. Powers must be purchased as normal.

Example:

First power: LD10
Second Power: LD8 (LD10-2nd cast - failure = S4 perils of the warp!)
Third Power: LD7 (LD10-3rd cast - failure = S6 perils of the warp!)
Fourth Power: LD6 (LD10-4th cast - failure = S8 perils of the warp!)

This makes the farseer more flexible in that they can "guide/fortune" multiple squads - but at a risk, as subsequent casts attracts denizens of the warp to their location.

2. Chaos Sorceror

Suggested enhancement:

Favor of the Gods: The sorceror can attempt to call on the powers of the Dark Gods to augment his sorcerous powers. Roll a D6. On a 2-4, the spell gains an additional 6" of range. On a 5, the spell gains an additional 6" of range AND can not be countered by either a psychic hood or runes of warding. On a 6, the Sorceror may make two castings as if under the effects of a roll of 5. The same power may be used. On a 1, the Dark Gods are displeased, and the Sorceror is replaced by a Chaos Spawn. No KP are awarded to the opponent for this substitution.

Blood Sacrifice: The sorceror may sacrifice an thrall wizard model to reroll the Favor of the Gods attempt. The second result stands. This may only be done once per turn.

-obviously, this can potentially be very stupid with Lash of Submission, but Lash aside, I think it is a fluffy way of augmenting the sorceror without making him too much like a Librarian.
