So basically, i have a pile of old gorkamorka trukks that just don't do it justice anymore now that the orks have a majassive new trukk. so i've been thinking of ways of using these old models.

I christen them... "dakka trukks", basically an upgunned version of a warbuggy, with between three and five heavy weapons on it.

they wont be twin linked, but they will be fun!!

any tips on how much they should cost? I reckon 60pts for a trukk av 10/10/10 with three big shoota's on it, and +10pts for another two big shoota's

then we could have a "tankbusta trukk" for 80pts with +15 for another two rokkit launcha's

think this is fair??

I'd just add an orky weapon and call it a "buggy".

Slap a twin-linked big shoota on it or whatever.

I have three of them in my IG army carrying autocannons and "counting as" sentinels with rough terrain mods and autocanons.

Before that, in a previous games club, several of us called them "Geeps" (General Purpose Mobile vehicles) and used them as small, fast transports that could hold 5 men (so, centaurs before their time).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

I'd say you have the makings for a Flakkatrakk or two, which are the Orky AA vehicles. Their guns are actually quite frightening, especially with a co-axial weapon to guide them. Great for blowing Mech Eldar out of the sky in smaller games, or taking out flyers in larger ones.

Check out Apocalypse:Reloaded for details. (Jeebus, I sound like a shill for GW. I only encourage people like that for conversions, I swear!)

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!
