Hello folks!

I'm a 22 year old uni student from Canada (BA econoomics). I've been playing warhammer since I was 11, starting with fantasy chaos.

Got brought back into warhammer a few years ago when a bunch of buddies decided to start playing 40k again, so i busted out my old fallen angels unit and decided to turn them into a full army. Decided on the DA codex rather than the CSM codex, and they've since migrated to the new marine codex. The army has been two years in the making (tough to find time to paint ), but now that school is almost done I'll hopefully find some more time to paint! I'll probably post some pictures when I can.

See you all in the trenches

Lots My gaming group plays 1000 points, and I've been doing a libby, two tac squads, a sternguard squad, and a dread all in drop pods. We're moving to 1250 points to test out armies for a tournament coming up in december, and I'm thinking of replacing the sternguard with a squad of GK terminators+grand master to try give me some help with CC specialists and MCs. Going to try it out soon, so we'll see how it goes. I'll post the full list in the lists section

Take Assault Marines with storm shields and thunder hammers. Its a shock and awe unit. The enemy cannot deal with them at low point level games.

Welcome!

Just two things:
1. English is not my mother tongue. I´m really sorry for the misunderstandings and the kicks to the dictionary. Don´t be too hard on me, OK?
2. With the best intentions sometimes comes the worst advice. But you asked for it, didn't you?
