I know the cadian heavy weapon teams come mounted on a 60mm base, but could I mount one guardsman and the heavy weapon to a single 40mm base, and model another guardsman as the loader on a seperate 25mm base?

I know that the old catachan teams come with the seated gunner and gun, and the other loader seperate like my Idea. Is this against the rules? The rules do specify that it is just because of easier movement and conveinience.
