i see a lot of people talking about making molds with greenstuff. How is this done? are there any tutorials available on dakka that cover this?

There's a decent article on Cool Mini or Not about making GS molds... it's for making two-part molds, but the basic principles apply to one-part press molds. I made press-molds for FW Purity seals to pretty good success. I took a blob of GS, and pressed it onto the still on the sprue resin seal with the mold flash backing intact. I removed the part once cured, and can press small blobs of GS into the indentations, and remove good fidelity copies of the seals once cured... it's a simple matter of removing the molded part from the rest of the blob pressed into the mold.

You can use plenty of substitutes for the lego if you have not got a kid or you grew out of it and into Warhammer!

wow that was a pretty good video series, i wonder if it would be possible to do the FW crisis suit heads that way? not that i would just a thought.
