I have a competive side but most of my games are friendly and against space marine players. I always loved their models and fluff so i got myself 2 boxes. They are great against SM but does anyone use them against other armies at all?

I like them against Necrons.

All in all, fact is that Warhammer 40K has never been as balanced as it is now, and codex releases have never been as interesting as they are now (new units and vehicles and tons of new special rules/strategies each release -- not just the same old crap with a few changes in statlines and points costs).

I use them all the time against SM, Necrons, Grey Knights, Orks, and Tau. They are a really fun and fluffy unit - perfect for campaign and casual play. Just don't go depending on them in an 'Ard Boys tournament.

TS does not excel in cc or against horde armies. I'd take one TS squad in a Rhino and fill the rest with other Cult troops.
