Hello

I'm new here, but I've been 40k playing for 2-3 years. I play other games like Fantasy, warmachine and flames of war, but 40k is my main thing. I also love BFG. I'm a big Ork/IG player, but I have at least 400 points of most armies.

I intend to own a game shop someday. This require experience that I don't have. Still working on it though...

I'm very interested in conversion articles, I want to learn to scratchbuild. I have a number of superheavies I want to own but don't want to pay more than $50 for- I bet that you all can understand that! And besides- why buy a model when its more of an accomplishment to build it!

If anyone can direct me to a good article to start learning bigger conversions, that would be great! I have basic conversion skills but can't green stuff to save my life.

Thanks!
-Lucky

Welcome.

It's better to simply be an idiot, as no one can call you on it here. -H.B.M.C.

Cap'n Gordino's instant grammar guide:
"This is TOO expensive." "I'm going TO the store, TO get some stuff."
"That is THEIR stuff." "THEY'RE crappy converters."
"I put it over THERE." "I'll go to the store THEN."
"He knows better THAN that." "This is NEW." "Most players KNEW that."

Welcome to Dakka!

Just two things:
1. English is not my mother tongue. I´m really sorry for the misunderstandings and the kicks to the dictionary. Don´t be too hard on me, OK?
2. With the best intentions sometimes comes the worst advice. But you asked for it, didn't you?
