I'm sure this has been asked before and errata/faq'ed to death but I can't find it anywhere else so here goes

if a wraith cannon rolls a 6 to inflict instant death are cover/invulnerable saves allowed?

The Wraithcannon's rules don't say that it ignores saves, and so it doesn't.

Look at the rule for "instant death" everything is covered there, but to save you the trouble, everyone gets a save but if they fail it then they will instantly dead regardless of wounds and wargear*

so there you have it, hope that helped ^^

*conditions apply

The wraithcannons rules give it an AP of 2, so nothing should get an armour save against it, but cover and invulnerables can be taken as normal.

If the target is in the open, without an invulnerable, is not immune to ID and gets hit with a to-wound roll of 6, then he's toast (that's gotta leave, what? 3 or 4 models? [/sarcasm])

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
