the vulkan he'stan chapter tactics say:
all flamers, heavy flamers, meltaguns, multimeltas counts as twinlinked.
twinlinked= is re-roll to hit.
but a flamer and heavyflamers hit automaticaly.

so whats is happening for the flamer what is the profit.

Check your rulebook, it is quite clear that template weapons get to re-roll the dice for wounding if they are twin linked (note, template means the conical flame template, not blasts which re-roll the scatter dice).
