This month, as I said in the title of this post, I've decided to try modelling a model, so I broke out the Greenstuff and got cracking.

I thought I'd go for something easy, and Squigs being my favourite Warhammer unit, I went for one of them....

so, here are the pics!

(It's covered in grass 'cause I had a little hobby accident )

It all took around 2 hours to paint and make
Now, I know it's not great, but what do you think, should I by more GS and keep practicing?

i love it, they remind me of squigs lol.

maybe you can make it alittle smaller ( so you can make a whole
unit of it without been too $$ on green stuff )

Not a bad first try, it's a bit dificult to tell if you used a sculpting tool or not as there are alot of finger prints on your green & not a great deal of detail, still, not awful for your first go...buy some more GS,keep practicing and good luck.

In my opinion this is very good for a first try and the paint job makes it better. For me this would be enough to make me say wow that is fantastic work. I really like and good job

PS Please make me some of them they are just so cool

Gratz for stepping out of your comfort zone and trying something new I like what you got started, size, shape and form are just as important as detail. As with anything, practice, practice, practice. Definately get some sculpting tools and I'd suggest some sculpy as it will be way cheaper to use than GS and a little more forgiving as a budding sculpter. GL!

Not great, but not any better than my first GS attempts.

My advice is to keep practicing, and also to be patient when sculpting things. Do them step by step; some teeth, wait for them to harden, build a mouth around them, start to work on the body, etc. The paint job is good too, and a good paintjob can work to hide faults in sculpting.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.
