As the topic says, buying GW paints and supplies are just too expensive. Of course, I'll keep buying their models, because even though they are expensive, they are top quality, and of course the books are a must buy, but I am no longer ordering modelling and paint supplies through them anymore. The only problem is, I need to keep a similar color scheme in my army to try and keep it coherant. Can anyone look over this list and see if there's anything wrong in my color comparison?

Edit: This was posted before I realized that A.) the vallejo website has a chart that lists their similar colors to GW and B.) they almost blatantly rip off the citadel paint names. Also, I didn't like the colors they had for the skin choices, so I instead picked out new colors for base, and highlights. I like pale skin tones...

I also plan on using smokey ink and skin wash...

skull white - dead white
codex gray - cold gray
bestial brown -beasty brown
snakebite leather - cobra leather
scab red - scar red
blood red - bloody red
tanned flesh - elf skin tone
dwarf flesh - pale flesh
elf flesh - cadmium skin
boltgun metal - gunmetal metal
chainmail metal - chainmail silver

personally myself love Val paint too. they coat way better , with better consistancy too.

however i never bought val washes... and it been oil based icant use GW wash on it rofl.
