So if I understand the FAQ for the Dark Angels my Black Templar Smoke Launchers don't use the newer rules in the 5th edition book, but use the rules in the Black Templare Codex as the Codex rules trump Rule Book rules.

BT rules say ~ "Penitrating hit are Glance hits.."

Am I correct about this?

Thanks

Going by the "Codex trumps Big Red Book" ruling on everything, I'm going to say yes.

Sweetest 3 points I'll ever spend on a vehicle upgrade...

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling, which thinks that nothing is worth war, is much worse. The person, who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

That rule is right out of the BRB pg 62. "As normal , the rules in the Codex take precedence."

Who are all these people, and why aren't they dead?

Yep, Black Templars may have inferior storm shields, but they sure do know how to make smoke launchers.

I envision 3 dedicated LRCs with 3 Vindicators all moving 12" and popping smoke first turn...

Oh, the atrocity...
