Its casual because I havent found out where tournies in the UK are held (Im a lazy student bum)
Tis a progression from a thread in the tactics section on SS
Hq

5x Harlequins
(See above) = 140
10x Striking scorpains

+Scorpain claw (for MC's) & biting blade (walkers/vechiles) = 217
Heavy support
========
2 x Fire prism = 230
1x Wraithlord
+ 2x flamers
+wraithsword
+shruiken cannon = 110
Total = 1497.
Two very hard to target mindwar hubs. I dont know how to get anti-armour besides the prisms. The wraithlord could quickly become a wave serpent for the DA's
Look... No shinning spears!

Looks pretty good to me, only thing I can think of is maybe adding some more dire avengers or just some more troops to be able to claim objectives

Well, looks pretty bad.
If the Harlies are foot slogging, take a maxed out squad.
Scorpians are questionable. They are useful as a counterstrke unit or for outflanking.
But in the latter case I'm pretty sure they arrive at the wrong board edge.
The army lacks anti-tank since Prisms are pretty unreliable.
Avengers need a tank for protection as they are too fragile.
The Farseers are too expensive for what they can achieve. Drop one and add an Autarch.

I love the "casual" in the title, and i dont know why.
I just cant imagine eldar being casual.

How about 1 harlie squad with yuriel & that 150pt farseer (mindwar just too useful), 10 man.
Scorpains infiltrate & have move through cover.
The DA's are on thier own unless I drop that wraithlord & I just dont want to.
Casual - I have a bunch of dancy drama types, some emo recluse snipers & a short sighted dredanought.

I can't help thinking you don't have a lot of troops.
Holding objectives will be tricky with this list.
Also, getting those harlies into assault will be tricky. Once they're there though, bang on.
having 3 Infiltrating units is a very nice way to immediately own the battlefield, but I find my Pathfinders really need something big and ugly between them and the enemy to stop any pesky assault units getting to them in the last few turns.

Well, you could take Yriel and a Farseer with doom and fortune (Harlies).
As said, the DA squads needs protecting by a Serpent to occupy an objective farther away from your front ranks.
They could be supported by the Harlies.

Maybe try a group of scorpions infiltrating with each pathfinder squad. Even with smaller squads, the combination of good shooting and good assault should do well to hold an objective. Also lose the wraithlord unless it is hanging with a farseer. Murphy might leave it dazed within reach of the nightbringer or give it some other lame death. Go with the serpent, the avengers need armour and mobility.
Overall the list is underpowered, overevtended, and is not working together very well

Eldar needs synergy.
And this list lacks synergy.
Eldar simply cannot afford losing models (souls) or equipment (tanks).

The wraithlord can bum along with the shadowseers (As thier psykers)
Ill concede the over extendedness of this list.. I think the squads can work well with eachother.
The DA's needing a serpent, its just too expensive & if ur gonna serpent a troop, why not some cheaper guardains. Although maybe theres a reason you havent heard of footdar..
Turning the harlies into 1 10man, knocking off mindwar from one farseer & fortune/doom/spiritstones from the other & adding in another 10man dire avengers squad.
-Tis what I plan to change.
Hows this for a tactic in this list - In the movement phase, assuming im in a guarenteed charge distance (or a fair chance with fleet), moving the farseers out of the squad & then either pulling back the hq's (aswell as doing various psykic powers) /just the one/charge them both in: Allow the harlies to make use of the flipbelts & their hit&run rule (I.e hit & running through a building etc) The farseers are targetable anyways in combat. It'll leave them alonesome but allows the harlies to go crazy & bounce around.
Ill change the OP if people think its a gd idea (well I do, I just appreciate/respect le feedback)
