Been playing BA Jumpwing. Played a tourney here a few days back. Got creamed as I faced 3 SAFH armies. 0-1-2. THinking about taking some dreads to run across the battlefield to soak up some of the AT that's poppin off my jumpers. I figure 3 furioso's will flackmagnet for me in a 2000 point list. Anyone else here trying it?

Rhinos and Baals are much better than dreads to screen your jump infantry since more Marines can hide behind them and they have OCE to cover a lot more ground early on.

Hmmm... Not to mention the Baal's have front armour 13, which makes a slightly harder screen.

go all jump packs. 3x man vet assault , 4x 10 assault squad, dante,

The problem with all jump infantry is they have nothing to hide behind and blazing guns will strafe them.

I have a large BA army on my shelf and it will stay there.
I think this army needs a new codex before it can be fielded effectively at the battle field.

I am playing them in an RTT tomorrow. So far out of five tournaments this year I have only lost one game with them.

Hey G. Not sure what armies you faced.
But generally, BA is not top tier.

Never said it was but then again mine has beaten some top tier lists along the way.
