Turn 1:
I went first he chose to deploy and chose his side of the field, so i decided to move both my sons straight across the field who needs cover when you have an inbuilt cover save, i rush my dual sorcerors down the field and let off 4 bolt of changes at a chaos lord, 3 hit, 2 wound and he makes no saves Take that Mark of Tzeentch, 1 wound left.

Turn 2:
He placed his sons into rhinos and chaos lords jumped into the terminator unit, he moved 11" then unloaded his sons and sorcerors which are all in range, they hit 13 times, wound 4 times *talk about luck* i lose 2 guys, not bad for wounding his lord twice, then comes the doombolts both hit, both wound, both kill i rolled snakeyes.

Turn 3:
I move into rapid fire range, and charge my sorcerors in to within 2 inches, i hit 20 times, wound 6 times he loses 3 rubrics, fire 2 bolt of changes at his rubrics, both hit 1 wounds and he saves it :(, now i assault the squad with only 3 rubrics and a sorceror left, i strike first with my force weapons deal 3 hits, 2 wounds both are failed to save and he loses 2 rubrics, my other sorceror hits 4 times, wounds 3 times he fails 2 saves and loses the rest of his squad.

Turn 4: He moves his second squad back and marches his slow ass termis + lords up the field, he fires 2 lots of combi plasmas *from rhinos* which hit 8 rubrics, wound 8 rubrics! i fail 5 saves and i lose most of my squad, he then fires both of his lords daemon weapon hitting with 11 shots total, wounding 8 times killing my squad, then he uses his remaining squad to rapid fire my 4 rubrics and aspiring soreror, he hits 13 times, wound 6 times i fail all but one save, and lose a rubric.

Turn 5: I move my sorcerors to charge his terminators + lords, i move my rubrics inbetween both rhinos and his remaining squad, i shoot *not rapidfire* hit 4 times, wound 2 times he loses a rubric yay, i know order my sorcerors to charge the chaos lord squad and my 3 rubrics + 1 aspiring sorc to charge his squad in a last ditch effort to win the game, my sorcerors hit 10 times, wound 10 times, the lords and termis all fail saves and my force weapons rip the squad apart, but his lords hit 9 times *each* wounded 12 times, i fail 8 invulnerable saves and die, now my remaining rubrics hit 3 times, wound once and kill a rubric *Fear Them!*, my sorceror hits twice and wounds twice killing 2 rubrics, he retaliates and hits 4 times, wounding twice killing two rubrics, his sorceror hits twice wounds twice kills two rubrics.

Turn 6: I watch as he moves his rhinos in just to block off any possible retreat *not like i could now*, he strikes, hits twice, wounds once i fail the save and die, i hit him twice, wound once but he saved the roll

Result:
I lost, but only by a little bit with a joke army for such a low number of point battles, 220 point sorcerors worked out to be the gamebreakers snagging me some chaos lords who were extremely unlucky *imagine if they had got the charge or in range right off the bat*, not bad for my first game back with 1000 sons notes *Sorcerors will be getting a paint job to reflect the damage they managed to inflict on some chaos lords, i looked over the victory points for the game and it was a draw with a 6 vs 6 victory points, 1 point for killing a unit, 2 points for killing a HQ. In future i will be running some chaos lords + rubrics in rhinos much like he had they looked very very badass for a 1k point battle.
Also im not sure if everything i did was legal, but hey he didnt seem to mind , now i look back i think he may have bent the points to his advantage, combi-plasma rhinos xD

wouldnt the chaos lord instantly die from a bolt of change because its S8 and he is T4?

I knew something was up when hes like why fire 2 bolts of change at my lord, Damn it >.<. Will remember that for future games about the Str if double toughness = instant kill, knew i forgot something vital in that game.
