Interesting model, Like the scythe. Not a fan of the horns or the hoves, but solid sculpting on both.

Dont know If I like the green, it doesnt look dirty enough, mabe wash it and drybrush it.

Looking really good - I like the simple ceonversion of adding the horn to the top model - gives the feeling that his head is mutating into a plaguebearer's visage.

The palaquin, though, I like a lot. The bearers are really creepy, and suitably deformed and adapted to their task. The sorcerer's book is well done also. I would like to see something for a backrest on him though, as I feel it would lend him more visual impact and be a great place to put a Nurgle Icon.

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

Nice use of the plague-monk kit. Using the staves as support beams for the palinquin is just genius. I've certainly used that book for a couple of different armies too!

I've heard this before regarding my own up-coming Nurgle army. Besides soaking it in a green, brown and black wash, I've no idea how to get the 'look'.

The model looks a little bright because of the camera/phone flash, but you get the gist. Any tips? I haven't painted in over 2 years and my eye sight is shot (no glasses.)

Also is it generally accepted to replace MODELS with others? I'd like to field some Plaguebearers on the table but the Warriors of Chaos book doesn't have any daemons, but I want the look. replacing say, Chosen with great weapons with the Plaguebearer model..

thats good! the palanquin is fantastic! for the first pic, the PM, i would say you would benifit greatly from having wire coming from the two 'nipples' on top of the back pack going into the back of each head. that way you would join them up much better. looks to 'stuck on' and not intergrated

Amazing! Looks really good! Care to share your formula for the green armor? How did you do the antiquated brass look on the bolters?

Black auto primer for whole model

Armor - Foundation Gretchin Green > heavy coat of Badab Black wash > highlight Foundation Gretchin Green

Bolters - Dwarf Bronze > Badab Black wash > Hawk Turquoise in recesses > Dwarf Bronze to blend in the turquoise > highlight Burnished Gold

Thanks for the tip!

Did you black wash the armor after you had painted the metallic trim?
