Looking at the WD with the Angron Datasheet in it, it says formation is Angron and a bodyguard of 2-12 bloodthirsters.

Is Angron's posse of Bloodthirsters is a retinue and all that is implicated from it?

It doesn't say it is, so I wouldn't think so. In the end though it's apocalypse. Your gaming group should decide on its own. Just ask your buddies.

Really though even if it was a retinue it would matter little except to limit what it could do each turn.

The confusion being that it says bodyguard in the datasheet. It matters for obvious reasons, hidden Angron- Using Bloodthirsters as ablative wounds is an obvious buff.

I think the daemons are his retinue.

Other question is- I would assume they come in using the daemonic incursion rules? (Deepstrike like in the Codex Daemons)
