I'm especially concerned with getting interesting browns by mixing colors and getting as few non-earthtones on these guys as possible. I haven't decided if they're finished or not, but they've reached the point where I'm not sure where to go and most of my attempts to improve them mess up something I already finished and was satisfied with, so I'm putting them aside for now.

I'd say they need at least one more shade of brown, if you're looking for earthtones only. I'd say possibly make the loincloths darker. It looks fairly similar to the skintone, just with a little bit more drastic shading.

Perhaps they would look good with some tattoos?

I'd say the loincloths need to be a differnet colour to help break up all the brown.

Otherwise looking good.

Do some pale blue woad like out of "braveheart"or"King arthur".
