For an upcoming All-cavalry Bretonnian Army, I was wondering if we could share our paint recipes...
I'm looking for ways to get good clean reds and whites, aswell as how to paint horses, mostly brown.

Right now my recipes for white and red are as follows (obviously, they aren't very good )
Whites: Adeptus Battlegrey then Codex grey followed by a few layers of Skull White
Reds: Mechrite Red, multiple layers of Blood Red highlighted with 1:1:1 mix of Blazing Orange, Blood Red and Skull White
Brown: Scorched Brown (Or 1:1 Bestial Brown and Chaos Black) followed by Bestial Brown then highlighted

Adeptus battlegrey is too dark for a start on white.

For white I use fortress grey, FG/White, white
Red= Mechrite red, 2 layers blood red, baal red, blood red highlight, fine edge blazing orange (not needed)
