Alright, so my army is running a named hero using Lemartes rules. Now... I don't know about anyone else, but I absolutely HATE the Lemartes figure. I happen to love the normal Jump Pack Chaplain, because his pose is great, and his outfit is amazing. My only problem with him is that I REALLY want to depict the skull mask on him. I'm wondering A.) What's the cheapest way to get that skull mask. B.) How does he come packaged? Does the head already come on the blister, or is it separate, in which case, this could be easy... if not... I'm going to need to find a way to hack through some metal.

You can use the chaos marine skulllike head in the plastic chaos marine box. Many people use this head, just replace a bare head with it or make a plastic conversion of a chappy with this head.
Or, you could clip off a metal head, but that's a lot more work..

well on top of the suggestion i suggest using the skull mask form the chaos warriors command sprue it fits perfectly i've used it for a plastic termi chaplain and a jumpack one, if you really want i can try and get pics to show you how it comes out

Yeah, I made a Chaplain using that head too (long ago) but it's expensive for the sprue if that's the only thing you want it for.

If you already have the Chaplain model with the head you want and are feeling brave cut the head off and use a regular plastic Marine body. Just make sure you leave plenty of metal around the head...it's much easier to whittle excess away carefully than try to cut the head out closely and end up damaging it. Your best bet is to use a fine toothed model saw rather than clippers...takes longer but you get more control.

I would love some pictures. I always go a little bit overboard with preparation on things, so any references I could get would be awesome. Anyway, I was thinking about ordering some CSM stuff for my friend for a late christmas gift. I could give him the box under the condition that he gives me one head, and I'll give him whatever head he wants out of my bits box.

Heh. For me, the Berzerker head was all I had.

just to clarify the head i use are from the Fantasy chaos warriors, just don't want you to end up grabbign the chaos marine stuff then going 'what where is my skull helmet, ROADILL YOU LIED TO ME' and then there would be all this runnign for my life malarchy and i just don't have the energy for it atm.
