Hi all, name's Patrick.

So about 3-4 years ago, I got into tabletop gaming with a friend. It was very addictive and I ended up buying my own Tau army and going at it. It was fun playing with my friends but in time we moved apart during college and so I got out it more or less.

A year ago I tried to get back into it. I went to a games workshop store, bought a few figures, and came in to paint one night. It was not very fun. The store was over crowded, it was FILLED with children (i'm a 20 somethin year old guy), and it just wasn't that fun. That and Dawn of War was out, and that seemed more fun at the time.

I've been told WHF and WH40k do have adult groups, and that my experience was just because it was holiday season (this time, last year)

So that said I am trying to get back into it (now that I have money). Trying fantasy this time around for something new.

Hopefully, it will be as fun as I remeber it and i'll find a good group at a local hobby store.

Seems like a good forum for tips, hints and tactics

Look forward to meeting you all
