Hello all, long time lurker, first time poster.

I'm trying to get together all the information I can find on the various publication dates of 40k books (mostly interested in codices and big rulebooks). Why I want to do this, I'm not entirely sure, but my main desire is to see how the hobby unfolded through the chronology of publications (since I didn't start playing until late in 4th edition I didn't get to experience it myself). I've skimmed what I can get off of lexicanum, which I'm posting below, but they don't have very specific dates, and in some cases have no dates at all. It's pretty hard to google some of this information so I was thinking that some of the members here might be able to help me fill in the gaps either through awesome memory skills or just pointing me in the right direction. Maybe somebody else has already done this work (though I don't know that anyone actually cares enough to do it). I'd love to get month of publication for all these books eventually.

Anyway, here is the list of what I have in google spreadsheet form, from 2nd edition to current. I haven't decided if I care about RT-era yet but on the off chance somebody else does I'd go grab that info too. I might potentially go a bit farther afield with this to include other 40k books that aren't just codices or main rulebooks.

it is the Lexicanum40k wiki entry on all the codicies and rulebooks, and each entry lists the publication dates.
