I'm currently not an Ork player, but this site seems to have so much great 40k info that I had to join. :-) Orks are definitly my favorite army to play against though.

Now for my introduction. Lets see...I'm the owner of a game store that sells GW of course. I started playing 40K back in 2004 toying with SM and IG lists. Ultimately, I stuck on SM mainly because of their simplicity of painting and less models than IG. But, having been in the US Army Airborne and Artillery, and currently in the National Guard, IG hold a special place and I'm sure I'll get around to creating one huge IG army.

My current army I'm working on is a DIY army of Crimson Paladins , inspired by the single showing of them in the 5th Ed. Codex in the map. Here is my vision for the Crimson Paladins. And here is my first attempt at their fluff.

I was originally going to get into WHFB with the Empire because they dressed like German mercenary soliders of the 16th Century called Landsknechts, which I re-enact at Renaissance faires. I'm sure I'll get around to getting a WHFB army put together as well.

After all that, I plan on getting a Warmachine Cygnar army (mostly knight types) put together for something different.

All that said, even though I've only been playing wargames since 2004, I've been a gamer since 1983 with roleplaying games, mostly D&D. My current favorite system though is Castles & Crusades by Troll Lord Games as it's more to my old skool taste.

I think that's enough for now. :-)

Now onto reading posts!

Don't mess with me. I play 40K.

Oh I'm sure it could be a not so appropriate response. I just meant to convey thanks for the greeting. I got it from my wife who has learned some Gaidhlig through historical re-enactment.

Yes, she plays a Scottish Gael at faire. She's recently joined an Irish Gaelic group so she may be learning different Gaelic.
