Since Apoc games have differant deployment rules about reserves, are we still only allowed to place half the drop pods on turn 1?

I don't the codices near me but I think the rules for pods are on a codex by codex basis

The new Space Marine codex states.

"At the beginning of your first turn, you must choose half of your Drop Pods (Rounding Up) to make a 'Drop Pod Assualt'.

I'd say you have to bring down half your drop pods - that's the way a drop-pod-using army "deploys". They aren't in reserves.

The other half, though, is and you'd be able to bring up to 1/2 on turn 2, the rest on turn three.

Or, if you have Careful Planning, you'll get between 1/2 and 3/4 your drop pods on turn 1 and the rest turn 2.

I'm with Spellbound,

You still use your Codex rules in Apoc just like normal.

Apoc doesn't change the way terminators deep strike, nor should it drop pods.

That said, asking an online community about apocalypse questions really seems pretty futile to me, it's the epitome of the friendly game.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).
