I'm more than a bit suspect about TTGN's "game of the year." It started when AT-43 won "Best New miniatures game" in 07, well over a year probably close to 2 years after it was released.

All that poll results mean is whomever can get more fanbois to the vote wins. This is why I get irked when I see companies like Privateer Press posting where to vote for Origins game of the year on their front page. Does best really mean "everyone is doing it?" Not to mention, too many gamers plant in one system and tear down all others, what could they really tell you about new games?
