Which does the community feel would be more effective for a footslogga ork army - 2 BM with KFF or only taking one BM with a KFF and a tooled out boss...

Anyone have any insight?

If your going all foot slogger, then I'd go two meks. This way you won't have to bunch up your (large) squads to get in KFF range.

Also means you can take 2 dread as troops if you want, leaving your heavy slots for lots of lobbaz and kannons.

Keep the meks near a dread too - they can try to fix it when bitz get blown off.

If you need lots of power klaw attacks at WS5 get a nobs mob with waagh banner. (unless your using all your elites slots for lootas

)

I personaly take one each ,A Big Mek with KFF is a must have IMO, but for me an Ork army just isn't an Ork army with out a Rampaging Warboss.

I take a Boss in a Trukk with Nobz and a KFF Mek. The Mek gets replaced with a Weirdboy if I'm not fighting a shooty army.

I personally like the bike boss plus KFF mek.

You get the best of both worlds.

If you have the points, taking Ghazghkull instead of a Warboss could be an option.

That auto-6" fleeting, making everyone fearless, turning Ghaz's save Invuln WAAAGH! can be pretty beastly; especially if you have masses upon masses of Boyz. And, in CC, Ghaz is pretty beastly himself.

I'm running foot-slogging horde now and I use two Big Meks. One has a KFF, but the other has a Shokk Attack Gun in a squad of gretchin. The long-range fire support is great as the boyz walk/run across the table.

i use a warboss and a bigmekk with shokk atack gun. my army is a mix of speed freeks and footslogers
