Well, the gallery has been taking up Lego's programming time pretty much exclusively (besides minor bug fixes) for the last 8 months. Now that he's done with that we have a whole slew of other little things planned, but there are quite a few optimizations and tweaks that have to be done on the gallery first.

But I did look on our secret 'to do' list of Dakka improvements and I don't see the prestige user rating system being implemented all that soon. There's just other things that have to happen first. But it is still something that is most certainly a goal to implement eventually.

It is indeed a low priority as there are dozens of cool things we want to add first, and lots of cleanup and optimisation needs to be done as well. There are a lot of issues with potential abuse, and it distracts from general usage of the forum, but it also has benefits as it lets us find popular posters and threads easily for promotion so it will be coming eventually.
